Purpose
This guide explains how crew members can create packages in the Package tab of the Ops App by selecting inventory items, adding package details, and saving packages for further processing.
Prerequisites
- A crew login account has been created.
- The crew has received valid login credentials (username and password).
- The Ops App is installed on the device.
- A job is assigned to the crew.
- The survey has been completed.
- Rooms and items have been added in the Inventory tab.

Step 1: Log In to the Ops App
- Open the Ops App on your device.
- Enter the provided username and password.
- Tap Login.
- After successful login, you will be directed to the Dashboard.
Step 2: Open an Assigned Job
- From the Dashboard, go to the assigned job ticket.
- Tap the Open button located at the top left of the job ticket.
Step 3: Go to the Package Tab
- Navigate to the Package tab within the job.
- All items recorded in the Inventory will be displayed along with details such as:
- Dimensions
- Weight
- Volume
- Value
- Materials

Step 4: Filter and Select Items
- To view specific inventory items, apply filters such as:
- Unpacked
- Packed
- Select the items to be included in a package by tapping the radio button next to each item.
- After selecting the required items, tap the box icon to create a package.
Step 5: Create Package Details
The Create Package screen will appear.
Selected Item Name
- The names of the selected items will be displayed automatically.

Add Photo
- Tap the photo icon to add pictures of the package.
- Choose to:
- Take a photo, or
- Upload a photo from the device.
- More than 40 photos can be added.
- Swipe left after selecting one image to add more photos.

Package Number
- Enter the package number.
Package Description
- This field shows the names of all items included in the package.
- You can add, modify, or remove item names manually.
Barcode
- Add the package barcode by:
- Scanning the barcode, or
- Manually entering the barcode number.

Materials
- Materials from the selected items will auto-populate.
- To modify or add materials:
- Tap the edit icon
- Select the required material using the radio button
- Tap Save
Handling Info
- Handling instructions from selected items will auto-populate.
- To modify:
- Tap the edit icon
- Select the required handling option
- Tap Save
Step 6: Add Package Conditions
Conditions
- Tap the Condition field.
Exception
- Select an exception such as:
- Worn
- Scratched
- Torn
- Etc.
Location
- Specify where the exception is on the package.
- Example: Scratched at the right corner
Add Condition
- Tap Add to include the condition.
- Multiple conditions can be added if required.
Step 7: Enter Package Measurements
Length
- Enter the length of the package.
Width
- Enter the width of the package.
Height
- Enter the height of the package.
Volume
- Enter the volume of the package.
Weight
Enter the weight of the package (in kilograms).
Step 8: Add Notes
- Notes: Manually enter notes for the package if required.
- Generate Notes: Tap this button to automatically generate notes based on package details.
Step 9: Create or Add Packages
- Tap Create to save the package.
- To add another package:
- Tap Add
- Enter package details manually
- To remove an added package, tap the cross (×) icon next to it.

Step 10: View Created Packages
Once created, the package will appear in the Package section with the following details:
- Names of items included
- Dimensions
- Weight
- Volume
- Total number of items
- Materials
