RedSky 

 Enhancements

1. Updated TDR Calculation Logic

Updated the TDR calculation logic to evaluate durations based on working days instead of calendar days. 

Configuration can be managed under:
System Default → Defaults → TDR / Checklist Working Days. Set the checkbox = True to enable this.  Default is False.

 

2. Ability to create Crew Users

Added the ability to create a RedSky user for a Crew Member at the time of adding crew details, simplifying crew onboarding and access management.  Under Crew Setup Menu, under user detail page, there is an option to "Create Login User".

 

3. Agent Search Validation

A new system-level validation has been introduced to allow selection of approved agents only during Agent Search across RedSky.


System Default Setting:
Field Name: Agent Search Validation
Default Value: Unchecked (Show all Partners including unapproved agents)

Behavior When Checked:
Agent fields across the application will allow selection of approved agents only.

This validation applies to the following agent fields:
Origin Agent, Destination Agent, Sub Origin Agent, Sub Destination Agent, Booking Agent applicable across Customer File and Service Orders.
This ensures data consistency and prevents use of unapproved agents.

4. Account Search Validation

A new validation has been introduced to restrict account selection to approved accounts only during Account Search.


System Default Setting:
Field Name: Account Search Validation
Default Value: Unchecked (Show Partner types Account, Agent, Private)

Behavior When Checked:
The Account field in the Customer File will allow selection of approved accounts only.
This helps maintain cleaner account data and improves compliance with account approval processes.

5. Bill To Search Validation

Enhanced validation logic has been implemented to control Bill To selection based on the booking agent type during Bill To Search.


System Default Setting:
Field Name: Bill To Search Validation
Default Value: Unchecked (Show all Partners)

Behavior When Checked:
If the Booking Agent is Own Booking: Bill To can be any Account or Private Party.
If the Booking Agent is not Own Booking: Bill To can also be an Agent.

This validation is enforced consistently across all Bill To selections in RedSky.

6. Registration Search – Scoped to Service Order Level in Global Search

The Registration search functionality in Global Search is now available only at the Service Order (SO) level.

? Bug Fixes

1. Work Ticket Creation Error Resolved

Resolved an error that occurred during Work Ticket creation, ensuring tickets are created successfully.


2. Document Checklist – Overdue Count Correction

Fixed an issue where the Overdue count in the Document Checklist was displayed incorrectly.

3. Rounding in the Copy Actual Process in Accounting

Fixed an issue causing incorrect rounding of amounts during the Copy Actuals process in Accounting functionality.


4. Claim Items – Loss ID Sorting Issue Resolved

Resolved an error that occurred when attempting to sort by Loss ID under Claim → Claim Items. Sorting now works as expected.

5. Fix for Alert Validation in Activity Management

Fixed an issue in Activity Management where alerts were displayed even when no changes were made. Alerts are now shown only when a change occurs, improving clarity and reducing unnecessary notifications.

Deprecation

The following features and fields are planned to be deprecated in upcoming releases.

1. Fax Field Removal

The Fax field will be removed across the RedSky platform. This field currently appears in multiple areas, including:

Customer File , Service Order, Work Ticket, Partner Details and Other related modules.
This change is part of an effort to simplify data entry and remove outdated communication fields.

 

2. Old RedSky View

The Old RedSky View will be deprecated, and only the New RedSky View will be supported going forward.

Customers are encouraged to transition to the New View.

3. Password Hint Questions

The “Password Hint Question and Answer” method used for password changes and recovery will be deprecated.
Going forward, PIN-based verification will be the standard approach for password validation, offering improved security and a simplified user experience.

 

4. User Access Setting – “Expired” Field

The “Expired” field under View User → Access Setting will be deprecated.

This field is redundant, as administrators can manage user access effectively using the “Enabled” checkbox.

RS Survey

 Enhancements

1. MovePulse Activation & Login Visibility

On the Survey App, MovePulse details are now displayed more intuitively:

If MovePulse is already activated, the customer’s MovePulse login details are shown. If not activated, users will see an option to Activate MovePulse. This provides clear visibility into customer portal status directly from the survey workflow.

? Bug Fixes

1. Calendar Filter – Incorrect Day Display

Fixed an issue where the calendar filter was displaying an incorrect day for selected dates.


2. Item Management – Modify & Save Issue Resolved

Resolved an issue that prevented users from modifying and saving items within Item Management.

Outlook Plugin

? Bug Fixes

1. PDF Preview Issue Resolved on the Document Upload Feature

Fixed an issue where PDF previews did not display correctly when selecting PDF attachments in the Document Upload Feature.


2. Email Upload – Emoji Handling Issue Resolved

Fixed an issue where emails containing emojis in the email body were not syncing correctly when using the Upload Emails feature. Emails with emojis are now processed and uploaded successfully without errors.

MovePulse

 Enhancements

1. Survey Data Visibility in MovePulse

Survey data captured through the RedSky Mobile Survey App is now available in MovePulse under the Survey section. Customers can view their survey data in real time, improving transparency and engagement throughout the move process.
