Introduction

In Redsky, users can classify agents based on the company division and their quality of services provided and the same can be accessed on agent fields available in the customer file and service order. It is also possible to define the agent classification through which agents can be classified as per company standards or requirements. For eg: Gold, Silver Bronze, etc.

Redsky also offers you the ability to set up your preferred agent lists through which you can set up the agents as preferred for an account, thus making certain agents more preferable over others based on the move i.e. whether it is domestic or international.

For example, assuming ABC is an account of XYZ company, and ABC says that for any of their moves for some specific locations, they want a certain set of agents who should do the move for their employees, the preferred agent functionality helps to set certain agents as preferred for account ABC. So while selecting the Origin Agent and Destination Agent, one can see the preferred agents highlighted in color, which makes it easier to identify them.

Preferred agent functionality is specifically for agents such as Origin agent, Sub-Origin agent, destination Agent, and Sub-Destination agent on the tracking status page.

Agent Classification Setup

To define Agent classification, Go To Administration -> Partner -> Search for the Agent -> Click on Edit

A drop down 'Agent Classification' has been added at Agent Details -> Additional Info -> Default section.

The default options are:

  • Client Directive
  • COD
  • Primary
  • Secondary

Agent classification can also be defined based on the Company divisions. In the below screenshot, we have selected the agent classification as “Primary”, and company division as “RSKY2”. Now, this agent classification will be applicable for RSKY2 Company division.

We can select multiple company divisions for the same classification. In case we have not selected any company division, then this will be applicable for all the divisions.

Agent Classification column has been added in the below screens:

  • Partner List View: User can check if the agents are classified or not from the partner list page and can update accordingly.

Go to Administration -> Partner

  • Agent search view: While selecting an agent in the customer file and service order -> tracking status page, agent classification column has been added to show the classification which makes it easier for users to select agents based on classification.

The classified agents will be shown in different colours based on the agent classification configuration. Agents classified as Primary will be shown in Green, Secondary in Red, COD in Yellow and Client Directive and non classified agents in no colour.

Agent Classification Options set up

In Redsky, users can add the agent classification option as per their standards from the Reference screen.

Go to Administration -> Reference -> Enter Parameter as ‘Agentclassification’ -> click on ‘Add Details’ to add a new option.

Enter the Code, Description and click on save to add the details.

Once the agent classification option is added, the value will reflect in the dropdown of the field available in Additional info of Agent detail page.

Note: The colour coding is applicable for the default agent classification options available and it will not be applicable for the new agent classification type created by the user.

Preferred Agent Setup

Go to Administration -> Partner. The page shown below will open.

Search for "Account"

Click on Edit. This will open the "Account Detail" page.

Go to 'Additional Info' tab. You will see the 'Preferred Agent' tab at the extreme right.

Click on 'Preferred Agent' tab.

Click on 'Add' button at the bottom of the page.

Search the Agent Code and save. That agent will be added as a preferred agent for this specific account.

Users can also add the agents by agent group by clicking on ‘Add by Group’ button. When you click on Add By Group, a drop down pops up beside it. This drop down has Agent Group names. The user needs to select the agent group and save it. The Agent group would be added to the preferred agent list. All agents that come under that Agent group are added in the preferred agent list. So, there is no need to select agents one by one which are under one group.

To verify you can go to the tracking status page, under Agent Roles section.

Now when users will search for the origin agent, destination agent, sub origin agent or sub destination agent, you will see the preferred agents highlighted as yellow. Other agents which are not preferred will appear highlighted as red.

Preferred agents which have an Agent Classification are the ones which can be selected. If Agent Classification has not been done for an agent even though it's a preferred agent, that agent cannot be selected as origin agent, destination agent, sub-origin agent and sub-destination agent.

Example:

Preferred agent shown in the above screenshot has Agent Classification, hence it can be selected as origin agent, destination agent, sub-origin agent and sub-destination agent.

Preferred agent shown in the below screen is missing the agent classification, hence it cannot be selected as origin agent, destination agent, sub-origin agent and sub-destination agent.

If one tries to select a preferred agent with missing agent classification, you would get a validation message as below:

Agents which are classified but are not preferred can also be selected as origin agent, destination agent, sub-origin agent and sub-destination agent.

The Preferred Agent functionality is dependent on the Agent classification functionality.
