Overview: PricePoint functionality allows the person using quotations to get overseas agent rates (from PricePoint) within RedSky. The user can obtain and compare the cost of origin and destination agent services for all agents servicing the market. This functionality helps the pricing person to prepare a quotation quickly. Mode 'Truck' is not supported by Price Point.
Enable Price Point checkbox should be checked in the company configuration to enable the Price Point Functionality for the company. Also, Company needs to have a Price Point subscription to use Price Point functionality.
How does this functionality work:
Step 1: User needs to enter all the required details (Mode, Estimated weight, estimated volume, Packing Mode) in the quote in order to use PricePoint.
Step 2: User will add lines in Pricing section and select Category as Origin or Destination, then ‘PP’ symbol will display. Clicking on PP symbol will launch the PricePoint functionality.
Step 3: A pop-up window will display for user to select Market Area for that move.
Step 4: After Market Area is selected, the list of agents with total cost for that market area will display. The Quote Currency will be set as default currency of the company; user can change if it needed.
Step 5: User will be able to see the cost detail for each partner by clicking on ‘+’ to view details, moreover the user can upload the quote into File Cabinet or print it out for their record by clicking on the icons below.
Step 6: When the agent is selected, system will populate the data into the price line as displayed below for the AGS example selected above.
Step 7: When click on currency symbol, system will show the agents’ price in their quoted currency.
