This Document explains the user to set up standard services with an option to reflect defaults. They could optionally select or de-select services not being offered for a particular quote and the same will be saved against the quote and also print onto the quotation form.
Menu item added to add Include and exclude services:
A separate menu item “QUOTE SERVICE TEMPLATE“ is added to add inclusions and exclusion and can be accessed from the ADMINISTRATION menu.
User can list down all the services which they may include or exclude and these services will be displayed on SO details page.
LIST PAGE FOR INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION
On clicking the “QUOTE SERVICE TEMPLATE “ menu item, the page will navigate to the list page of Included or Exclude services where users can either edit current services or add new ones:
ADDING SERVICES IN THE INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION SECTION
The Admin user will add the service details on the basis of various parameters (job type, route, mode and language) and will select if the service is for inclusion or for exclusion.
To add services user should click on the “ADD” tab present on the list page.
Control types: Users can add services according to different criteria which will be used to filter the services in the quotation, e.g. if you mark a service as applicable for Route = EXP then it will only show for exports.
Job type -- Job type of the service
Route -- Routing for the service
Mode – Mode for the service
Language -- Language of the service
Default-- If we mark any services as “Default” then these services will be marked as checked in service orders.
Include/Exclude -- Is the service an inclusion or an exclusion
Service Description -- Description of the service can be added here which will print on the quote.
EDITING SERVICES IN THE INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION SECTION
To edit the service user needs to click on the service number and then they can make the changes required by them and save it.
REMOVE SERVICES IN THE INCLUSION AND EXCLUSION SECTION
Suppose any service is no more required we can remove it directly from the list page (should not be normally done as linked forms will become orphans).
View on Quote/Service Order Details page
All the services described under the ‘Inclusions’ checkbox will come in the ‘Service Included’ section with checked if the default is checked on adding.
All the services included under the ‘Exclusions’ checkbox will come in the ‘Service Excluded’ section with checked if the default is checked on adding.
The user can select the desired language from the ‘Language’ dropdown
The system will compare the job type, route, mode, and language of the service(s) with the job type, mode, routing, and language of the quote/service order and display the list accordingly.
The system will display the list even if any of the parameters (job type, route, and mode) matches with the job type, route, and mode of the quote/service order.
In case of no match, the system will display the list on the basis of the language selected in the ‘Service Included’ section.
By default, language will be ‘English’ and thus services will be displayed accordingly
The system shows the relevant services with the ones clicked as default already clicked, you can change this selection based on the quotation pricing and the same will be reflected in the associated quotation form.
