Move Management :
Introduction:
Move Management feature facilitates you to plan and manage the packaging and moving services effectively. It allows you to manage all kinds of household shifting, car transportation, office relocation, home, shop, industrial or commercial shifting, and storing or warehousing facilities.
How to Access Service Order Page?
1. Click Move Management -> Service Order from the Navigation bar.
2. Last action will open-up the Service Order page.
How to find Service Order Record?
1. The Service Order page comprises the following two sections:
Section Name | Description |
Search | Provides you search criteria for finding the desired Service Orders. |
Service | Displays search results in a grid layout. |
2. You can search the database based on above specified search criteria. Specify relevant information in the corresponding text boxes and click the Search button. All records having similar information are displayed in the grid layout.
3. Click the desired Service Order under the S/O# column to view the corresponding service order detail. The following screen opens.
The Service Order page comprises the following tabs:
Tab Name | Description |
Forwarding | Allows you to view/manage various details regarding shipping container, vehicles, piece count and shipping route etc. of the customer belongings. |
Status | Summarizes the key milestones in the relocation. It enables you to view current status details in the move process. |
Document | Allows you to view already uploaded documents. It also allows you to upload new documents. |
Forwarding Tab:
The Forwarding page provides you an interface that allows you to view various details related to the move, such as quantity, weight and volume of the container, vehicles, piece count used along with the routing details..
To view current forwarding details, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Click the Forwarding tab available on the top of the screen.
2. The Forwarding page comprises the following sub-tabs. Click the corresponding tab name to view what tasks you can do using it.
Tab Name | Description |
SS Container | Allows you to view quantity, weight, and volume etc of the containers need to be moved from source to destination. |
Piece Count | Allows you to view quantity, weight, and volume etc of the items need to be moved from source to destination. |
Vehicle | Allows you to view details of the vehicles that used to move the items from source to destination. |
Routing | Allows you to manage departure and arrival details. |
Status Tab:
This module of the application allows you to view current status details of the move. To view current status details, you need to perform the following steps:
1. Click the Status tab available on the top of the screen.
2. The Status tab page comprises the following sections. Click the corresponding tab name to view what tasks you can do using it.
Section Name | Description |
Status Details | Displays current status details of the current service order. |
Agent Roles | Displays agents details, such as origin agent, destination agent, broker and forwarder, for the current service order. |
Weight and Volume | Displays weight and volume related information of the items. |
Initiation | Displays initial information regarding the service order. |
Origin Packout | Allows you to enter information of the items packaging related details, such as packing date and loading date. |
SIT @ Origin | This section appears when you click the Origin Packout header. It allows you to enter information related to the in transit storage of the items at origin. |
Origin Forwarding | Displays pronological data for pick up container, last free day, final notification etc. |
Transport | This section appears when you click the Origin Packout header. It displays transportation related details. |
Destination | Allows you to enter information related to the move at destination, such as delivery date and clear customer details. |
SIT @ Destination | This section appears when you click the Destination header. It allows you to enter information related to the in transit state of the items at destination. |
Document Details :
How to Access the Doc List page ?
To access the Doc List page, you need to perform the following process:
Click Move Management -> Service Order from the Navigation bar.
View previously uploaded documents :
The Doc List page shows the following details about the previously uploaded documents:
- Type: Displays the document type.
- Description: Displays a brief description about the document. This description helps you understand about the document.
- Document: Displays the uploaded document name. Click the document name you wish to review. This action will open the document in a new window. However, it does not allow you to make any change to the document.
Upload new documents :
To upload a new document, you need to perform the following steps:
- Click the Upload button located at the bottom of the page. This action will cause the following page to be displayed.
2. Enter the required information in the respective fields.
- Document Type: Select a document type from the drop-down list box.
- Description: Enter a brief description about the document.
- File to Upload: Click the Browse button, navigate to the required location and finally select the file you wish to upload.
- After completing the required information, you have the following options:
- Upload: Click to upload the selected file/document. A successful completion message box appear.
- Close: Click to close the current window. This action will discard the current operation and close the Document Upload window.
How to Access the Partner page ?
To access the Partner page, you need to perform the following process:
1. Click Move Management -> Partner from the Navigation bar.
2. This action will open-up the Partner screen.
3. Click the Search button to view all existing partners detail.
This screen also provides you various search options. You can use these search option to find the required partners detail.
How to use search criteria ?
The following steps instruct about how to use the search options to find the required partners detail.
1. Specify the search criteria in the text boxes available in the Search section. You may use more than one search options to narrow the search results.
2. One or more of the following criteria can be provided in the Search section:
Code | Indicates the partner code number. |
First Name | Indicates first name of the partner. Searching can be performed on the basis of first few words of the name. For example: Specify "Juan" to search for all records starting with "Juan". |
Last Name/Company Name | Indicates last name of the partner or company name. Searching can be performed on the basis of first few words of the name. For example: Specify "Juan" to search for all records starting with "Juan". |
Country Name | Indicates the country name. Searching can be performed on the basis of first few words of the country. For example: Specify "Jap" to search for all countries starting with "Jap". |
Country Code | Indicates the country code. Searching can be performed on the basis of first few digits of the code. For example: Specify "132" to search for all country code starting with "132". |
State | Indicates the state. Enter current state of the partner you wish to search. |
Status | Indicates current status of the agent/vendor/private party etc. Select the required option from the drop-down list box. |
Private Party/ Accounts/ Agents/ Vendors/ Carriers/Owner Ops | Select check box corresponding to the required partner types. The application will search only for the partner types with selected check boxes. |
3. Click the Search button. The search results appears in the Partner List section.
The Partner List section shows the following details:
Code: Displays the partner code.
Name: Displays name of the partner.
Private party, Account, Agent, Carrier, Vendor or Driver: Displays whether the corresponding partner code is for Private party, Account, Agent, Carrier, Vendor or Driver.
Country: Displays country name of the partner.
State: Displays state name of the partner.
City: Displays city name of the partner.
VanLine Code: Displays the VanLine code for the partner.
Status: Displays current status of the vendor.
