Service Order :
When you click on the Service Order menu option under the Move Management menu, you will be presented with the following Search Screen.
You may search by any of the search fields shown. Entering in our Service Order (SO#) number will yield the most exact search results. Entering in Smith in the last name fields may get you a list of records with the last name Smith from which you will have to choose.
If you are not sure how to spell a name, you can always enter a portion of the name. For example, you may enter "and" if you are not quite sure how to spell "Andersen". Be aware that the system will return matches for any occurrence of the "and" whether the name starts with "and" as in "Andersen" or if it contains "and" as in "Akanda".
You may narrow you searches by entering in other search conditions. For example, entering "and" into the Last Name field plus "steen" into the First Name field will narrow your matches accordingly.
Choosing the service order from the list :
If your search produces only one match, the system will go directly to the Service Order Status screen of that matching Service Order. However, if there is more than one match, a list of Service Orders will be presented.
Note the blue horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page. You will have to move the scroll bar to the right in order to view the additional fields which are not displayed on the screen. If you have a higher resolution screen, this will not be necessary as the entire screen will be visible.
Note that only 10 search results are displayed at one time. Some searches may return more than 10 results and you can view the Additional Search Results By clicking on the page number or (Next/Last) options.
Note that all the fields are sortable. Clicking on the Field Header will sort the list by that field. For example, clicking on the First Name field will sort the list alphabetically by First Name. Clicking on the Status Date Field Header will sort the list by Status Date. Clicking a Field Header again will reverse sort the list by that field, so clicking on the Status Date Header the second time will sort the list by newest Status Date first.
Once you have located the correct Service Order, you may click on the underlined Service Order Number link. This will take you to the Service Order Status Screen.
