Schedule Resources is functionality where a warehouse manager can assign trucks and crew to Work tickets. We also have timesheet functionality to assign crew to tickets after work is completed and work tickets to trucks, the Schedule Resources screen is a single place for a dispatcher to assign both crew and truck to a work ticket.

The screen gives a search screen to search for a warehouse for scheduling, with work date, related warehouse, service group, service type, and work ticket status:

This screen shows crews and trucks associated with the warehouse selected and tickets for the date range and warehouse selected.
The following is the functionality for the Schedule Resources:
When a user selects at least 1 crew, 1 ticket, and 1 truck the “Assign to tickets” button becomes enabled.
If more of each are selected, the button remains still enabled.
The “Assign to tickets” button will do the following:
At the bottom of the page “Resource Sheet” will show the combination of tickets, crew, and trucks assigned.
Will mark the assigned truck, crew, and ticket in Red color in their respective list.
If the user hits the remove button, the resources can be removed from the assigned list. Will turn black again in their respective list.
The “Show All” button will show both assigned and unassigned work tickets. By default, “Hide Selected”- only un-assigned work tickets, work tickets will be displayed.
Crew can be marked absent for scheduling as follows:
Button “Crew Absent” gets enabled only if 1 or more crew is selected and no work ticket and truck is selected.
If a crew has already been scheduled then the system does not allow them to marked absent, so a message comes saying “One or more crew selected has already been scheduled, please check again.”
The crew marked absent for that day, gets removed from the crew list.
Button “Crew Present”, can be used to mark the crew present again and to make it available again in the crew list.
