Overview

We are excited to announce the release of the Email Upload Feature, enabling users to upload emails directly from Outlook into the relevant service order or custom file in RedSky using the RedSky 365 plugin.

This integration is designed to streamline email and document management, keeping all related communications, attachments, and notes centralized within RedSky for better visibility, traceability, and team collaboration.


Steps to Add Plugin to Outlook

Upload Emails to RedSky

  • Access the Upload Emails option from the three-line menu.

  • By default, the plugin searches emails from the past week.

  • Use the email search section to filter results.

  • Select the emails you want using the checkbox.

  • Provide the service order number or custom file number.

  • Click Send to RedSky to sync the selected emails.

Smart Features

  • Auto-populate Order Number:
    The plugin can detect and auto-fill the order number from the email subject line.

  • Add Notes:
    Use the notes icon to attach additional comments or notes during upload.

  • Attachments Handling:
    Email attachments will be uploaded directly into the File Cabinet associated with the provided order number.

Synced Emails Management

  • Once synced, emails will move to the Show Synced Emails section for easy tracking.


On the RedSky Side

View Conversations in RedSky

  • View full email threads within the Emails tab linked to the service order.

Reply Directly from RedSky

  • Users can respond to emails directly from within RedSky, ensuring the conversation stays tied to the project or order.

  • Attach documents from either the File Cabinet or the local system while replying.

Centralized Communication

  • Keep all project-related communication, documents, and notes in one place, making it easier to track, audit, and reference in the future.
