1. What is Multifactor Authentication (MFA)?
Multifactor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of security to your RedSky account. With MFA, you will be required to provide two verification factors—something you know (password) and something you have (a device that generates an MFA code)—before accessing your RedSky account.
2. How do I enable MFA on my account?
To enable MFA, go to the My Account. You will see the MFA section to activate MFA. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your MFA device (such as an authenticator app)
3. How do I log in if I lost my device?
If you lose your MFA device, you will not be able to generate a valid MFA code to log in. In this case, please contact the administrator of your organization. The administrator will be able to reset your MFA settings and guide you through setting up a new device for MFA authentication.
4. What should I do if my MFA pin is not working?
Double-check the Pin:
Ensure that you are entering the correct MFA pin. Small errors, like mistyping or confusion with numbers or characters, can cause the pin to fail. Double-check that you're entering the right code and verify there are no typos.
Contact your Administrator:
If you’ve double-checked the pin and it still isn't working, reach out to the administrator of your organization. The administrator can reset your MFA settings and help you configure MFA with a new device or setup.
5. What if I am using MFA but cannot access my account?
If you're using MFA and cannot access your account, ensure that the correct MFA device is being used and the code is entered correctly. If the issue persists, contact your administrator for support or assistance with resetting MFA settings.
6. How do I change my MFA device?
To change your MFA device, go to the My Account. You will see the MFA section to add new device. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure your MFA device (such as an authenticator app).
7. How often do I need to enter the MFA code?
You’ll need to enter your MFA code every time you log in to account.
