Introduction

EDI report Is an automated report designed for the state department of USA. This report Is created and sent on daily basis depending on SCAC partner code and delivery date for GBL number (government bill of lading (US DoD)). 

Below Is the attached sample EDI report format.

Overall Report Conditions

Below are the conditions for a service order to be extracted in EDI Report.

1. Menu: Service Order --> Tab: Status --> Section: US Government --> Field: GBL # should not be blank.

2. Menu: Security --> Sub Menu: System Default --> Section: Default --> Field: Dos Partner Bill to code in the Billing Tab should be equal to value available In field "DoS Partner".

3. Menu: Service Order --> Tab: Accounting --> Section: Account Line --> Field: Actual Sent to client should be blank.

4. Menu: Service Order --> Tab: S/O Details --> Field: Status should not be 'CANCEL', 'CLOSED' or 'HOLD'.

5. Menu: Service Order --> Tab: S/O Details --> Section: Weights & Volume --> Field: Estimated Net Weight should not be "0.00".

6. EDI date field value should be either null or EDI date plus 30 days is greater than or equal to current date. EDI date field will get updated as current date whenever user will update the Actual Delivery Date
   

VII. The Delivery field in the US Government section on the Status tab is now non-editable. It will be auto-populated from the Actual Delivery field in the Destination section on the Status tab.

Note: - Data in columns will be truncated after the character limits.

Data Source and Logic of Report Columns

1. Column A

Conditions: 

• If DoS SCAC value Is available In Security --> System Default --> Default section, then value will be fetched

•  If Dos SCAC Is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

2. Column B

Conditions: 

• If GBL No Is available In Status --> US Government Section, then value will be fetched.

• If GBL # is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 10

3. Column C

Conditions: 

• if commodity in service order is not equal to "AUTO" then Data in this column will be fetched from Customer file --> "Schedule Survey Date".

• If Schedule Survey Date is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

4. Column D

Conditions: 

• If commodity in service order is not equal to "AUTO” and If service order mode is AIR, then data is fetched from estimated gross weight otherwise estimated net weight.

• If commodity in service order is equals to "AUTO” then 6 blank space will be sent in report.

• If column C is empty, Then an error message will be displayed 'Survey weight data incomplete'. So, column C must be specified along with column D in order for the survey weight to show in the report.

5. Column E

Conditions: 

• If Actual Load date is not blank and if commodity in service order is not equal to "AUTO” then data is fetched as Sum of Carton Piece (from Active carton). 

• If Actual Load date is not blank and If commodity in service order is equals to "AUTO” then data sent in report is 7 blank spaces.

• If Actual Load date is blank or null, then 7 Blank spaces will be sent in report.

6. Column F

Conditions: 

• If Actual Gross Weight Is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If Actual Gross Weight is blank, then 6 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 6

7. Column G

Conditions: 

• If Actual Net Weight Is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If Actual Net Weight is blank, then 6 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 6

8. Column H

Conditions: 

• If commodity is "AUTO" then data will be fetched as sum of Vehicle's volume otherwise.

• If commodity is not “AUTO" then data will be fetched as sum of Carton's volume.

• if carton's volume is null then data will be fetched as sum of container's volume.

• If sum of container's volume is null, then 13 blank spaces will be sent in report.

9. Column I

Conditions: 

• If Actual Pack is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If Actual Pack is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 10

10. Column J

Conditions: 

• If Actual Load is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If Actual Load is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 10

11. Column K

Conditions: 

• If value in Delivery field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in Delivery is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 10

12. Column L

Conditions: 

• If value in Made avail for delivery field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in Made avail for delivery is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

13. Column M

Conditions: 

• If value in Origin Agent field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in Origin Agent field is blank, then 30 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 30

14. Column N

Conditions: 

• 10 blank spaces sent in report.

15. Column O

Conditions: 

• 10 blank spaces sent in report.

16. Column P

Conditions: 

• If value in Destination Agent field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in Destination Agent field is blank, then 30 blank spaces will be sent in report.

17. Column Q

Conditions: 

• If value in Request to ship field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in Request to ship field is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 10

18. Column R

Conditions: 

• If value in Permission granted field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in Permission granted field is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

19. Column S

Conditions: 

• If value in SIT reason field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in SIT reason field is blank, then 4 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 4

20. Column T

Conditions: 

• If value in Date In field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in Date In field is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 10

21. Column U

Conditions: 

• If Date Out field is equal to "Actual" then data from field "Date Out" is fetched otherwise 10 blank spaces.

• If it is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

22. Column V

Conditions: 

• If value in SIT Reason field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in SIT Reason field is blank, then 4 blank spaces will be sent in report.

23. Column W

Conditions: 

• If value in Date In field is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If value in Date In field is blank, then 4 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Conditions: 

• If Date Out field is equal to "Actual" then data from field "Date Out" is fetched otherwise 10 blank spaces.

• If it is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Conditions:

Conditions: 

• If value In Booking # field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing.

• If field Is blank, then 25 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Conditions: 

• If value In BL #/AWB # field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing.

• If field Is blank, then 25 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Conditions: 

• 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

31. Column AE

Conditions: 

• If value In Carrier name field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing.

• If field Is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

32. Column AF

Conditions: 

• If value In BL #/AWB # field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing.

• If field Is blank, then 25 blank spaces will be sent in report.

33. Column AG

Conditions: 

• If value In Return Container/Deliver to Pier field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing.

• If field Is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

34. Column AH

Conditions: 

• If value In Vessel/Flight # field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing.

• If field Is blank, then 25 blank spaces will be sent in report.

35. Column AI

Conditions: 

• If value In Container Cut-off date field Is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 10

36. Column AJ

Conditions: 

• If value In Vessel/Flight # field Is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 15 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 15

37. Column AK

Conditions: 

• 12 blank spaces will be sent in report

38. Column AL

Conditions: 

• If value In Flag Carrier field Is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 3 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Conditions: 

• If value In Estimated Departure field Is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 3 blank spaces will be sent in report.

40. Column AN

Conditions: 

• If value In POL field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing with below condition: If mode Is AIR then POL code will be fetched and If mode Is SEA then POL name will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 25 blank spaces will be sent in report.

41. Column AO

Conditions: 

• If value in mode Is SEA, then "1" will be sent and If mode Is AIR then "2" will be sent in report.

• If field Is blank, then 1 blank space will be sent in report.

42. Column AP

Conditions: 

• If value In POL field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing with below condition: If mode Is AIR then POL code will be fetched and If mode Is SEA then POL name will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 51 blank spaces will be sent in report.

43. Column AQ

Conditions: 

• If value In Estimated Arrival field Is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 10

44. Column AR

Conditions: 

• If value In POE field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing with below condition: If mode Is AIR then POE code will be fetched and If mode Is SEA then POE name will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 25 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 25

45. Column AS

Conditions: 

• If value in mode Is SEA, then "1" will be sent and If mode Is AIR then "2" will be sent in report.

• If field Is blank, then 1 blank space will be sent in report.

46. Column AT

Conditions: 

• If value In POE field Is available, then the value will be fetched from the first line of Routing with below condition: If mode Is AIR then POE code will be fetched and If mode Is SEA then POE name will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 51 blank spaces will be sent in report.

47. Column AU

Conditions: 

• If value In Bucket ("EQUIP" Refmaster of SS Container - Size) field Is available, then the value will be fetched.

• If field Is blank, then 4 blank spaces will be sent in report.

• Corp Id should be 'JKMS', 'CWMS' and 'NWVL' else 10 blank spaces will be sent.

48. Column AV

Conditions: 

• If value In SS container field Is available, then the value will be fetched from active first line of container.

• If field Is blank, then 15 blank spaces will be sent in report.

• Corp Id should be 'JKMS', 'CWMS' and 'NWVL' else 10 blank spaces will be sent.

Max Characters: 15

49. Column AW

Conditions: 

• If Actual Load date is not blank and commodity in service order is not equal to "AUTO” then data is fetching as Sum of Carton Piece (from Active carton line). 

• If Actual Load date is not blank and commodity in service order is equal to "AUTO" then 7 blank spaces will be sent in report.

• If Actual Load date is blank, then 7 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 15

50. Column AX

Conditions: 

• If service order mode is AIR, then data is fetched from Actual gross weight and If service order mode is SEA then data is fetched from Actual net weight.

• If it is blank, then 6 blank spaces will be sent in report.

Max Characters: 15

51. Column AY

Conditions: 

• If commodity is "AUTO" then data is fetched as sum of Vehicle's volume.

• If commodity is not "AUTO" then data is fetching as sum of Carton's volume, if carton's volume is null then data is fetched as sum of container's volume. If sum of container's volume is null, then 10 blank spaces will be sent.

• If it is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

52. Column AZ

Conditions: 

• If value in Seal # is available in field, then value Is fetched from active first line of Container.

• If it is blank, then 15 blank spaces will be sent in report.

• Corp Id should be 'JKMS', 'CWMS' and 'NWVL' else 10 blank spaces will be sent.

53. Column BA

Conditions: 

• If value in Seal Date is available in field, then value Is fetched from active first line of Container.

• If it is blank, then 10 blank spaces will be sent in report.

• Corp Id should be 'JKMS', 'CWMS' and 'NWVL' else 10 blank spaces will be sent.
