Disable the TSFT parameter value for CorpId instance

Administration >> Parameter

Search for the parameter and View

Here you will see a new label "Not for use"

You can disable the global value "Destination Port to Door" by checking the 'Not for use' checkbox.

For CorpId specific parameters also selecting the 'Not for use' checkbox will disable that value.

Note:  There will not be any impact on the existing transactional data

Few questions regarding this change:

What happens if TSFT active setting is False (inactive).

<> TSFT status set to False disables that value for all Corp IDs.

What happens if I check this box for a Corp ID value?

<> The new "Not for use" checkbox disables that value for that CorpId. "Not for use" will override the CorpId status.

What happens if via the sync I receive a value that I have deactivated? I read in the manual it has no impact on transition data but must say the term is not very clear and can mean sync or data in the current files.

<> Transactional data refers to information saved in an old file. In the case of all old files where the service is set as "Destination Port to Door" and you disable it by selecting the 'Not for use' checkbox, the old files will still show the value "Destination Port to Door" as valid value for that service order. The change will be in effect on the new files when you create.

Does this mean all dropdown’s in RedSky have been updated and therefore inactivating a value now works for all drop downs too?

<> These changes are implemented on the drop-down values for the following page - customer file, service order, tracing status, billing and work ticket page
