Overview :
This document illustrates the necessary setup to be done for the Insurance functionality. Scope of the insurance is limited to LumpSum insurance.
Customer File Insurance Option :
Insurance options which were setup earlier at System default level or Account level will appear under Customer file >> Billing Details section. Same will appear on MovePulse customer portal.
Insurance setup at CorpId :
Security >> System Default >> Insurance
There are three insurance options provided -
- Lump Sum
- Detailed List
- No Insurance
Lump Sum : This option is used to have the lump sum insurance instead of listing the individual items.
"Insurance Per Unit " needs to be provided at system default which will be used as multiple of the actual valuation of the items.
"Unit of Insurance" from the list - Kilo, CBM, CFT, LB.
"Min Replacement value per item" is the minimum amount of items which can be added.
"Max insurance value per item" This is the max limit of the worth of items which are covered under insurance. Any items which will be added where value is more than this, then this field value will be used to calculate the additional amount.
"Insurance Value Currency" This is used to set the insurance currency. If the value is set as blank, then by default the base currency of the Corp Id account will be used as insurance currency.
"Validation" This is used to add validation than move pulse user can add items which are less than the 'Min Replacement value per item'
Insurance setup at Account :
This is where one wants to set the insurance option at the account level. So whenever the respective BillToCode is selected, then the "insurance option" set at that account will override the "insurance option" set at System Default level.
Open the Account.
Go to Additional Info Tab.
The Insurance section.
Billing Tab >> Valuation / Insurance :
CPortal Insurance Options : The field will be read only and will display the option selected at CF.InsuranceOptions
Insurance Submit Date : The field will display the date where the end user submitted the Insurance request on CPortal.
Insurance Value : Once the insurance option is submitted from MovePulse, based on the option this value gets populated as
Insurance calculation:

CFT - Estimated Net Volume (miscellaneous.netEstimateCubicFeet)
LB - Estimated Net Weight (miscellaneous.estimatedNetWeight)
