Introduction
In the RedSky, all documents belonging to a Service Order or Customer File are stored in File Cabinet. Some of these documents are to be sent as an invoice attachment. A document in the File Cabinet can be labelled as an “Invoice Attachment”. This manual describes the document upload process in general supplemented with the upload of Invoice attachments.
Uploading Documents to the File Cabinet
Documents can be uploaded to a Customer File, a Service Order, and to a Ticket. The upload process is the same for all locations. For this work instruction, the upload of documents to the Service Order is used. In the next paragraphs, a step by step instruction is given on the upload process.
Service Order
The first step is to access the Service Order to which the document belongs:
File Cabinet
In the service order, click on the icon in the top bar of the RedSky screen. The File Cabinet opens.
In the above screen, an overview of various document types is shown. To upload a new document to the File Cabinet, click the Upload button at the bottom of the screen. The upload screen appears.

Select a file to upload
First, select the Document Type from the dropdown list. Selecting the document type will automatically fill the fields Map and Document Category. The Description field is also filled with a default value. However, the description field can be overwritten.
After filling out the fields, click on the Browse button to select the file you want to upload. You can also use the “DRAG AND DROP FILE CABINET” If the drag and drop section is not shown, the Java plugin is missing on your system.
Portal Access Control
In this section, the distribution options for the documents can be selected. For Example, If the file should be shown in the Customer Portal, check the box Customer.
Network Access Control
In this section we can determine which of the parties, involved in the relocation, are able to see the uploaded file. The file is copied to the file cabinet of the “checked” partner.
Invoice Attachment
If the file should be attached to the invoice sent, the checkbox should be checked.
Upload
After all the fields are filled out and the checkboxes needed are checked, click the Upload button to upload the file to the File cabinet.
Note: If an email, containing attachments, is uploaded, be sure to upload the attachments separately. Otherwise only the email message is added as an invoice attachment without the actual attachment.
The “Invoice Attachment” column in the Document Centre
In the Document Centre, the Invoice Attachment column is adjustable. Documents already uploaded to the File Cabinet can be marked as Invoice Attachments by checking the checkbox.
